Overview

This policy covers Simple Warm Reminder, an offline reminder app for iPhone and iPad. It describes version 3.3. The sections below also apply to 3.2, except Set Up for Family and the notification actions, which are new in 3.3.

Simple Warm Reminder does not require an account or use a developer-operated server.

Data Stored on Your Device

We do not collect or receive your reminders, schedules, confirmations, settings, or voice recordings. They are stored and processed on your device.

The app does not collect your name, contact details, location, or advertising identifier. It has no cloud sync, advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking code.

Simple Warm Reminder is a reminder tool and not a medical device. It does not ask for health information. Anything you type as a reminder name, such as the name of a medicine, stays on your device like the rest of your reminders.

Voice Recordings and the Microphone

You can record your own voice as a reminder sound. The app asks for microphone access only for this, and records only while you are recording on the Voice Ringtones screen. Recordings are stored on your device and are never uploaded. You can rename or delete them in the app.

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, without a remote notification server. The notification actions (for example Medicine taken and Remind me in 10 min) are handled on your device.

The Home Screen widget and the Lock Screen countdown read the reminder schedule from storage shared between the app and its own widget extension on the same device.

Notifications, the widget, and Live Activities can show reminder names on the Lock Screen or Home Screen. Use the app’s settings and iOS notification settings to choose what is visible.

Set Up for Family (from version 3.3)

Set Up for Family creates a QR code and a link on your device. They contain the reminder setup only: the four reminder names, their times and notification text, which daily reminders are switched on, the Remind Again If Missed setting, the selected built-in sound, and the appearance setting. They do not contain voice recordings, language, or purchase information.

Nothing is sent to us. The setup travels only through the code or link itself, so anyone who scans the code or opens the link can import those reminders. If you use Send as Link, the app you choose in the iOS share sheet receives the link and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.

On the receiving phone, the QR code is scanned with the iOS Camera app; Simple Warm Reminder does not request camera access. The app shows the reminders it is about to import and changes nothing until Import is tapped.

Purchases

Every feature is free. The optional Tip Jar offers consumable tips that unlock nothing. Apple processes these purchases; we do not receive payment-card details.

Earlier versions sold a one-time PRO unlock through Apple. Those features, including voice recordings, are now free for everyone.

Data Retention

Your reminders, settings, and recordings remain in local storage while the app is installed. Removing the app can remove its local data. There is no account-based recovery or developer-operated backup; we cannot restore data from a server because we do not hold a copy.

This Website and Support Email

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for website traffic and performance measurement. These website tools are not included in the app and do not receive your reminders or recordings. Read the website data-use notice and Vercel’s Web Analytics and Speed Insights privacy documentation.
