This privacy policy applies specifically to the iOS app “TalkMirror” (the “App”). It explains how we handle information when you use the App.
TalkMirror is built with a strict Privacy‑First approach. The core experience is designed around instant feedback while keeping your practice private and ephemeral.
Data Collection and Use
We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data from inside the App.
In particular:
- We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information.
- We do not run third‑party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- We do not upload or store your voice recordings on any server.
Microphone and Voice Practice
TalkMirror uses the microphone only to provide immediate playback and feedback during practice.
- RAM‑only audio: Your practice audio is processed in memory for instant playback and is not saved as audio files by the App.
- Foreground‑only: For safety, the microphone and audio engine stop when the App goes to the background or the screen locks. Recording does not automatically resume when you return.
Session Metrics (On‑Device Only)
The App may save simple session metrics to help you track practice, such as:
- Session duration
- Number of loops/utterances
- Selected mode and a few practice settings
These metrics are stored locally on your device. They do not contain audio content and are not transmitted to us.
Text‑to‑Speech (Reference Voice)
In Call & Response mode, the App can play a reference model using Apple’s system text‑to‑speech.
- The App does not send your text to our servers.
- Some system voices may require downloads managed by iOS/Apple. We do not receive the text or audio involved in those system processes.
In‑App Purchases (Tip Jar)
The App may offer an optional Tip Jar to support development. All payment transactions are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.
We do not collect, receive, or store your payment information. Billing details are handled entirely by Apple.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Because the App does not collect personal data, there is no user data to share.

Your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps downloaded from the App Store:
