Overview
This privacy policy applies specifically to the iOS app “TravelBrain” (the “App”). It explains how we handle personal information when you use the App.
The core philosophy of the App is to be simple, useful, and respectful of your data. TravelBrain is designed as an on-device travel planner that does not rely on user accounts or remote storage.
Data Collection and Use
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from our users.
The App is designed to function entirely on your device. All data you create within the App — including your travel inspirations, itineraries, and settings — remains on your device.
To be clear:
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any other contact information from inside the App.
- We do not track your location or usage habits.
- We do not have access to the travel plans or inspirations you create.
Notifications and Live Activities
The App can send local notifications and show Live Activities to help you remember your travel schedule and see progress on your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island.
- Notifications and Live Activities are optional and are controlled by you in iOS Settings.
- Notification content is generated on-device and is not sent to any external servers.
If you prefer not to receive notifications or Live Activities, you can turn them off in iOS Settings at any time.
iCloud Backup
The App provides an optional backup and restore feature that uses iCloud. This feature is entirely user-initiated:
- Backups are triggered manually by you and stored in your personal iCloud storage.
- We do not have access to, nor do we store, any of your backup data on our servers.
- Restoring from backup is also a manual operation controlled by you.
Your iCloud backup data is subject to Apple’s iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
In-App Purchases
The App offers an optional Pro upgrade as a one-time purchase or subscription. All payment transactions are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.
We do not collect, receive, or store any of your payment information. Billing details are handled entirely by Apple.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties.
Because the App does not collect personal data, there is no data to share with advertisers, analytics providers, or other external services.
Analytics and Advertising
The App does not include third-party analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs. There is no embedded tracking code from external providers.
Terms and EULA
Your use of TravelBrain is also governed by Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps downloaded from the App Store.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted will constitute your acknowledgment of the new policy.
