Built for my father
I built Simple Warm Reminder for my father, who sometimes forgets small tasks as he gets older.
He does not need another complicated to‑do app, notification center, or productivity system. He just needs a few reliable reminders that feel calm and obvious: turn off the stove, turn off the power, bring in the laundry, check the gas.
Simple Warm Reminder is my attempt to give him that.
Open, tap, done
The app is designed around one simple loop:
- Open the app — no accounts, no setup flow.
- Tap a large button — each preset is a card with extra‑large text and glass‑styled colors.
- Let it ring when the time comes — clear built‑in tones make sure important things are not forgotten.
You can switch between daily schedules (for things that repeat, like bringing in laundry) and quick timers (for one‑off tasks like turning off power after a few minutes).
Live Activity support
When you start a timer, Simple Warm Reminder can show the countdown as a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, so you can keep an eye on it without reopening the app.
Calm and readable, not noisy
The promotion screenshots you see are real UI: big cards, soft gradients, and a glass‑style look. They are intentionally simple because many people using the app do not want to “manage tasks” — they just want to see four or five important switches at a glance.
There is no timeline, no badges, and no complicated filter views. Simple Warm Reminder focuses on a narrow set of recurring tasks so it can stay calm and easy to understand.
Private by design
Simple Warm Reminder is built with a very strict privacy stance:
- No data collection. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
- On‑device only. Reminders and settings stay on your iPhone.
- No analytics SDKs or tracking. The app does not report your usage back to a server.
The goal is for you or your family members to trust that what happens in the app stays on the device.
Pricing (no Pro)
Simple Warm Reminder is now completely free. There is no Pro tier and no subscription — all features are available to everyone.
If you’d like to support the project, there’s an optional tip inside the app. Tips don’t unlock features — they’re just a way to say thanks.
