KeepFlame 2.0 is available on the App Store. Released September 22, 2026. Read the 2.0 release post for the story behind the redesign.
Small habits, a collection that grows
KeepFlame brings your habits and to-dos together on one screen. Long-press a habit to mark it complete, check what is left for today, and turn a recurring to-do into a habit when it becomes part of your routine.
Complete all of today’s habits to earn 10 Ember, then spend them to reveal a card. Each draw adds a card you do not already own. The current collection contains 22 illustrated cards, with no rarity tiers and no duplicate draws within your collection.
A reward you can keep
Your first launch includes 10 Ember for a first draw. After that, completing all of today’s scheduled habits earns 10 Ember once per day. Every seven consecutive perfect days adds another 10. A draw costs 10 Ember; finishing to-dos or filling in past days does not earn Ember.
Open Collection to see what you have found, inspect each card, or share a card image through the iOS share sheet. The artwork draws on tarot imagery, but KeepFlame does not offer readings or predictions. Cards and Ember cannot be bought, traded, or redeemed for money.
All current features and the included 22-card collection are free. Version 2.0 has no Pro upgrade, subscriptions, purchase screen, or Restore Purchases button.
See how your routine is taking shape
Track weekly, monthly, and yearly completion rates, browse your yearly heatmap, and open a habit for its calendar and individual history. Collection progress and draw statistics give you another way to see what your routine has added up to.
Optional local reminders help you return to unfinished habits. Live Activities show your current progress on the Lock Screen and, on supported iPhones, Dynamic Island. Choose how many items to display in Settings → Live Activities.
KeepFlame 2.0 requires iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Choose from 22 language options in Settings → Language, or follow your device’s language.
Why the redesign
The original KeepFlame rewarded progress with animated themes. Version 2.0 replaces that experience with a redesigned interface and a collection you build through daily habits. Illustrated cards give each completed day something to leave behind and give me more room to develop the artwork and the app over time.
Upgrading from 1.1 starts a new set of data in 2.0. Earlier habits and completion records are not imported and cannot be viewed in 2.0. If you need a record of your old routine, save screenshots or notes before updating. Data you have already created in 2.0 continues to be used normally.
Private by design
Habit tracking, to-dos, card draws, and statistics work offline. Your records, Ember balance, collection, and settings stay on your iPhone. The app has no account, cloud sync, analytics SDKs, or advertising SDKs.
Sharing a card is your choice and uses the system share sheet. Opening this website, emailing support, or using a sharing destination is separate from the app’s offline functions. See the KeepFlame privacy policy for details.
